Robyn Love is a certified yoga therapist and the founder of Atha Yoga School. She has over two decades of personal practice and has been teaching for almost 15 years. Her teachers are Chase Bossart, Dolphi Wertenbaker and Guta Hegewig, all trained at the Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandarim in Chennai, India, which was started by TKV Desikachar to share the teachings of Sri Krishnamacharya. Robyn did a yoga therapy internship there in 2017 and continues to study with their faculty via online classes and programmes.
Robyn brings a passion and enthusiasm to her teaching that is grounded in a belief that the tools of yoga can be adapted to every body and mind. In her yoga therapy practice, she specializes in working with people with eating disorders, end of life care and Yoga Sūtra study.
In addition to her yoga therapy/teaching, Robyn is a visual artist and longtime student in the Mountains and Rivers Order of Zen Buddhism. She has two grown children and currently lives in western Newfoundland, Canada
