About Me

Mary found yoga the way many find it, in search of something to relieve pain. In 1996, she began a journey that continues today. She faithfully attended 12 years of Iyengar Yoga classes, then had an accidental introduction to Viniyoga by a substitute teacher. Before she knew it she was enrolled in a 2.5 year Viniyoga teacher training- and that was just the beginning. Mary has been leading group Yoga classes, and seeing private clients since 2011.

Mary combines āsana, meditation, chanting and prānāyāma (breath work) in her classes and private client practices. She currently teaches online and sees her private clients one:one virtually and in person in San Francisco, CA.

In addition to her yoga teacher and therapy certifications, Mary has done a deep dive into intuitive meditation and holds a masters certificate from the Academy of Intuition Medicine® in Sausalito, CA.

Mary’s clients range from people wrangling the ravages of stress, anxiety and depression rampant in our wired world, to those negotiating functional challenges of the shoulder/hip/back, to those living with illness, e.g. MS, Parkinson’s, Glaucoma, Hypertension, Arthritis, Fibromyalgia, Diabetes and more

Mary’s interest is in the potential for health and well-being that lies within all of us. Working with a wide range of clients Mary brings attention, intuition and heart to the meetings and practices.

Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within you that you have built against it.
