About Me

Jennifer Brandt was born and raised in St. Paul, MN. At age 16 she began meditating to relieve recurring headaches.  She became curious about body-mind practices and in 1998 she moved to Chicago and attended her first yoga class at a women-only gym in Lincoln Park. Instantly hooked, she went on to study yoga for the next two decades.

Today Jen is a Certified Yoga Therapist and Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist. She specializes in women struggling with health issues, mental and emotional suffering, and life transitions such as divorce, grief, and menopause. Her goal is to listen deeply and provide the highest level of support to her clients as she helps guide their journey to take back their health and happiness, and increase their overall wellbeing and resilience.  She truly believes aging can be a beautiful process and encourages everyone to embrace their gray hair.

When she isn’t working with a client or teaching classes, Jen can be found walking her Goldendoodle ‘Honey’, hanging out with her two teenage kids, cooking something up in the kitchen, or getting out into nature- she especially loves camping on the North Shore!  Jennifer looks forward  to beginning  a new chapter as Assistant Faculty in Yoga Well Institute's next Yoga Therapist training in Berkeley, CA.

Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within you that you have built against it.
