Yoga Therapy for Depression, Anxiety and Burnout
Whether you’re a medical professional, an educator, a parent or just someone trying to navigate our times, it’s hard to be a human and not have experienced any of these conditions. In our practice of looking at the whole system, we can see that the symptoms of mental health issues are manifestations of the ways that bodies and minds have tried to cope in challenging or painful situations. The presence of symptoms indicates that our internal systems may need recalibrating.
At Panchamaya, we believe it’s possible to affect real changes to your mental health through daily yoga practice. Celia has designed a specialized class for individuals suffering from symptoms such as exhaustion, sleep trouble, irritability and worry. This 8-week course will build progressively on tools that include gentle movement, breathing exercises, focused meditation and therapeutic sound. Over time, this methodology can result in a reduction in symptoms, making room for balance, relief, and wellness.
All bodies and levels of experience are welcome.
